REBECCA BROWN GREER

Rebecca obtained her B.A. (Hons.) in psychology from Queens University and her J.D. (Dean’s Honour List) from the University of Western Ontario. She was called to the bar in 2012.

Rebecca articled and practiced for many years at a well-respected boutique insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto. She has experience in all areas of tort and accident benefits claims, including first and third party claims, disputes between insurers (including both priority disputes and loss transfer matters), workplace safety & insurance appeals, bodily injury claims, construction negligence claims, property damage claims, professional negligence claims, and occupier’s liability claims. Rebecca has represented clients before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Rebecca is a co-chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal practice group at the firm.

Rebecca received the Law Society of Upper Canada Prize in her final year of law school. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, travelling, and being a mom to her daughter and son. She is looking forward to instilling an irrational love of the Toronto Maple Leafs in her kids, much like her father did for her.
