On January 20, 2023, LAT practice group co-chairs Peter Durant and Rebecca Brown Greer hosted a webinar on Emerging Trends at the LAT. Joined by Ashley Shmukler and Lauren Kolarek, the group discussed important decisions from the LAT in 2023 including adjournments, CAT criteria, concussions and the MIG, res judicata, and the term “Employed” in the context of CERB. The team also made some predictions on how the LAT will manage adjournments, deemed incurred medical benefits, and what is an “accident”.
