KARINA DZIUBA

Karina received her J.D. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2023 and her Honours Specialization B.A. in Criminology from Western University. Prior to law school, Karina worked at a prominent personal injury law firm in Toronto, which sparked her interest in trial advocacy. She also worked with a forensic accounting team where she gained familiarity with expert accounting reports used in litigation.

While completing her legal studies, she summered with ZTGH in 2021 and 2022 and returned as an articling student. In 2024, Karina was called to the bar and joined ZTGH as an associate.

During law school, Karina gained invaluable client-facing experience dealing directly with a variety of organizations while volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada. She was also involved in student leadership roles as the Speaker’s Chair for Women and the Law. Karina developed a keen interest in insurance law, product liability, class actions and commercial litigation while taking advocacy focused classes in law school.

In her free time, Karina enjoys staying active by taking long nature walks and hiking, exploring the food scene in the city and cozying up with tea while watching Netflix docuseries.
