HOOMAN E. ZADEGAN
Prior to entering the world of law, Hooman completed undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology at the University of Ottawa. He then went on to obtain his J.D. at the University of Ottawa and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013.
Hooman began his practise of law on the plaintiff side of insurance disputes, before transitioning to insurance defence in 2016. His practice encompasses all aspects of insurance litigation, including motor vehicle accident tort claims, statutory accident benefits, coverage, property damage, subrogation, loss transfer and priority disputes. A strong proponent of social justice, Hooman has also assisted victims of human rights violations before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Hooman is a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion committee.
Hooman has expertise in special investigation work, and he employs his fearless yet empathetic style of advocacy to every file. A tenacious yet tactful advocate, Hooman fully considers but rarely limits himself to common solutions.
Hooman is fluent in Farsi, has working knowledge of French and is developing his knowledge of Spanish. When not advocating for his clients, Hooman enjoys playing tennis and frequenting Toronto food and film festivals.
