ELISA PREZZANO

Elisa received her J.D. from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law in 2025 and her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, with a minor in Political Science, from the University of Guelph in 2022. Elisa joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP as a summer student in 2024. She subsequently completed her articles with the firm and returned as an associate following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2026.

Elisa has a broad insurance practice including coverage analysis, LAT disputes, health law issues, tort MVA disputes, EUOs, and appellate advocacy. Elisa has a particular interest in special investigation work having assisted senior lawyers at ZTGH on SIU files and also having completed an externship with the City of Windsor’s Legal Services Department in claims investigations and insurance and risk management.  

Prior to joining the firm, Elisa developed her interest in litigation through placements with the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, where she assisted Crown Attorneys with disclosure review, trial preparation, and case management.

During law school, Elisa further developed her advocacy and client-management skills as a caseworker with Community Legal Aid Windsor.

Outside of her practice, Elisa enjoys going to the gym, running, hiking, and travelling.
