DUHA SIKANDER

Duha received her J.D. from Western Law in 2023. Prior to law school, Duha graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University where she received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour, with a minor in Justice, Law & Order.

While in law school, Duha enjoyed mooting in the areas of medical malpractice and labour law. In 2L she was the winner of the 22^nd Annual Borden Ladner Gervais LLP/Cavalluzzo LLP Labour Law Moot. She was also an editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies, a Student Ambassador and a 3L mentor.

Duha spent her 1L summer working for a civil litigator which inspired her to pursue a career in litigation. She studied insurance coverage and personal injury law throughout law school which sparked her interest in insurance defence litigation. Duha spends her spare time tending to her vegetable garden, baking desserts and story writing.
