ANDREW C. MCKAGUE
Andrew completed his M.A. in English at the University of Guelph in 2004. He then obtained a Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2006. He went on to earn his LL.B. at the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2010. Andrew joined the ZTGH partnership in 2017.
Andrew has a diverse practice that focuses largely on estate litigation as well as defence of first party auto and tort claims. He also acts for select plaintiffs involved in serious car accidents.
In addition, Andrew’s practice includes employment law and general civil litigation.
He has numerous reported decisions and has argued cases at all levels of court in Ontario including the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Andrew has worked with several clients on fraud projects fighting suspect claims and clinics. He is regularly retained to conduct examinations under oath. He also specializes in priority and loss transfer disputes by way of private arbitration.
Andrew is also co-chair of the firm’s Examination Under Oath and Estate Litigation practice groups.
Since 2022, Andrew has been recognized by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers of Canada list.
