Adel joined ZTGH as an Associate in 2024 after completing her articles with the firm and being called to the bar that same year. She is developing a broad insurance defence practice with a focus on property damage, coverage disputes, accident benefit claims, and subrogation matters. Adel has appeared regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and has experience representing clients before the Small Claims Court and the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

Adel earned her JD degrees through the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. During law school, she served as a senior caseworker and litigator at the Community Legal Aid Clinic, where she regularly appeared before administrative tribunals and the Ontario Court of Justice. Before law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies, along with a Certificate in Law, at Queen’s University.

She also gained valuable experience working at one of North America’s largest insurance brokerages, which sparked her interest in the intersection of law, risk, and insurance.

Outside the office, Adel enjoys travelling, practicing yoga, and exploring new restaurants.
