ANDREW RODRIGUES

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts from York University and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex. Before his call to the Ontario Bar in 2020, he spent nearly a decade in litigation support roles, building the procedural discipline and practical file sense that shape his work today.

Andrew’s practice focuses on General Liability and Property claims, supported by wide-ranging experience in Motor Vehicle Accident Tort, Statutory Accident Benefits, Occupiers’ Liability, Subrogation, and Casualty matters. He has appeared extensively before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and routinely manages Discoveries, Mediations, Pre-Trials, and settlement negotiations.

His work is defined by disciplined preparation, clear and direct communication, and a tough-but-fair advocacy style. Having acted on behalf of Plaintiffs and Defendants, he understands how claims are assessed from all angles and what actually drives resolution. His approach remains pragmatic, evidence-focused, and grounded in traditional litigation fundamentals. As a result, opposing Counsel encounter a measured, reasonable advocate, while clients can rely on him for practical advice that generates results.

This strategy has led to strong, favourable results for clients across courts and tribunals, including published decisions of the Licence Appeal Tribunal. Outside of practice, he remains a relentless advocate, particularly when arguing that LeBron James is basketball’s Greatest Of All Time. In additional to his unwavering support of Lebron, Andrew is also an avid fan of the Blue Jays, Raptors, and, for reasons even he accepts are debatable, the Raiders.
