PURVA VAIDYA

Purva graduated from University of Pune in India with Bachelor’s in Social Laws and L.L.B. She is licensed to practice law in India and is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 2008. She received her L.L.M in International Business Law from University of Central Lancashire in England. Purva was called to the Ontario bar in 2021 and has gained experience working on personal injury cases both in England and in Canada since her call to the bar.

Purva’s practice areas include accident benefits, LAT as well as Tort actions involving motor vehicle accidents. Purva has argued before the LAT at several hearings including those for determination of Catastrophic impairment and has represented her clients at Appeal hearings at Social Benefits Tribunal. Her experience working plaintiff side on motor vehicle accidents, sexual abuse, wrongful terminations, and medical malpractice cases has given her perspective to make strategic decisions for her defence clients.

Purva is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Marathi and has working knowledge of Punjabi.
