GERRY THOMAS

Gerry attended the University of Waterloo for both his undergraduate and graduate studies for his Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) degrees, respectively. After graduation, Gerry pursued his Chartered Accountant (now Certified Professional Accountant) designation while working in public accounting, with a specialization in Taxation.

After getting his CPA, CA designation and leaving public accounting, Gerry entered the legal industry by moving up the ranks in the finance department of a large multinational legal firm. In order to have more autonomy and implement his own ideas regarding efficiency and internal controls, Gerry moved to ZTGH where he now oversees the areas of accounting and operations.

When he is not working, Gerry enjoys going to shows around the city’s many great concert venues and traveling (especially when it involves sampling local cuisine and craft beer or, better yet, surfing).
