LAILA KHALIL

Laila articled with the firm before returning in 2022 as an Associate. Laila regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice and the License Appeal Tribunal. Laila’s growing practice includes Accident Benefits and Tort, WSIAT disputes, Catastrophic Loss, Pollution, and EUOs.

Laila obtained her Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law. While at Western, Laila volunteered as a Caseworker with the Community Legal Services clinic, and the Family Law Project through Pro Bono Students Canada. During her first year of law school, she was selected for an international internship with the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, located in Chicago.

Prior to law school, Laila earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Health Studies from York University, Glendon Campus.

Outside of the office, Laila enjoys various sports such as volleyball, squash, and skiing, travelling, and spending time with her cats and family dog.
