KASIA KOSACKA

Kasia received her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto in 2008, and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Windsor in 2011. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012.

Kasia began her practice working at an insurance defence firm in Toronto, and subsequently gained experience on the plaintiff’s side at a personal injury firm in London. She returned to the area of insurance defence in June 2016, where she continued her practice in tort, accident benefits, priority disputes, and occupiers’ liability cases.

Kasia has represented clients before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Small Claims Court.

During law school, Kasia was involved with the Community Legal Aid clinic, where she provided assistance to individuals in the community as a caseworker. She also participated in various moot competitions, which helped develop her advocacy skills.

When not practicing law, Kasia enjoys travelling to foreign destinations, and experimenting with new baking recipes.
