YALDA AZIZ
Yalda Aziz joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan in 2020 as an articling student and returned as an associate following her call to the Bar in 2021. Yalda’s growing practice includes, Accident Benefits, Tort, Cannabis, Class Actions, and EUO. Yalda has regularly appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and the License Appeal Tribunal.
Yalda received her J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2020. Prior to law school, Yalda obtained her B.A. in Legal Studies with a Minor in Criminology from Ontario Tech University in 2016.
During law school, Yalda volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic as a case worker and a litigator. She regularly appeared before Administrative Tribunals and Provincial Offences Court to represent low-income clients in landlord and tenant, criminal, and provincial offences matters.
Yalda is a member of the Canadian Afghan Lawyer’s Association and is fluent in both English and Dari.
While not practicing law, Yalda enjoys working out, travelling, and exploring the diverse Toronto food scene.
