Natasha graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours B.A. in Philosophy and a LL.B. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008, worked for a year as a Civil Litigator, then went on to complete her LL.M. at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, with a focus on International Freshwater Resource Management. She has been working in civil litigation since returning to Toronto, and joined our firm in November 2020.
Natasha has extensive experience as a trial lawyer and has been second chair in 22 jury trials in Ontario. Her practice areas are motor vehicle tort litigation, occupiers' liability claims, and claims dealing with environmental issues caused by oil spills. Natasha has also done contract work for small businesses, and equestrian-related leases and litigation.
Natasha prides herself on a thorough analysis of the issues, well-written reports, and a quick turnaround time for clients. She has presented a paper at the Oatley McLeish annual conference and is currently working on two papers to be published in the area of civil litigation.
Natasha has been an equestrian most of her life, and she skis in Collingwood in the winter. She has been champion at the Royal Winter Fair, and a provincial champion on a number of horses over the years. Riding and the love of horses keeps her happy and motivated.
