Margaret received her Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Philosophy in 2009 and her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University in 2014. She was called to the bar in 2015.
Prior to joining ZTGH, she practiced at a well-respected plaintiff personal injury firm, where she gained experience advocating for clients on a variety of tort matters, accident benefits, long term disability, and medical malpractice. Margaret has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, Licence Appeal Tribunal, Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, Social Benefits Tribunal, and Social Security Tribunal.
Since joining ZTGH, Margaret has a varied insurance defence practice that includes tort matters, accident benefits, cannabis, and professional liability matters.
While at law school, Margaret was very involved with Queen’s Legal Aid, working as a caseworker during her three years at Queen’s Law, and served as the clinic’s Public Relations Director, Operations Manager, and Steering Committee Member.
Outside of the office, Margaret enjoys travelling and chasing after her toddler.
