Lauren joined the firm as an associate lawyer in 2012 following her call to the bar. She graduated with distinction from the University of Guelph with a B.Sc. in biological science prior to obtaining a J.D. cum laude from the University of Ottawa.
Lauren’s litigation practice consists exclusively of insurance defence. She acts on behalf of clients in civil liability claims including tort, accident benefits and priority disputes, occupiers’ liability, subrogation and coverage issues.
She has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as well as in arbitration proceedings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
Lauren prides herself on running an efficient, client-focused practice and is known for delivering timely, cost-effective dispute resolution.
In her spare time, Lauren is active in sports and fitness. She figure skated throughout school and continues to participate in adult synchronized skating. More recently, she has been trying her hand at beginner hockey.
