Jonathan graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in physiology and psychology in 2005 and received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010. He was called to the bar in 2011 and has practiced with the firm for his entire career.
Jonathan has significant experience defending insurers in a variety of areas, including tort motor vehicle claims, slip and fall accidents, bad faith claims, as well as commercial general liability work. He also has experience dealing with landlord and tenant disputes, both at the board level, as well as at the appellate level.
His practice involves handling fire, wind, water and hail losses, both in pursuit and defence of subrogated claims, as well as first party claims. Jonathan has experience dealing with a number of special investigations units in respect to suspicious fire and theft losses.
Jonathan regularly appears before masters and judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He also has experience advocating at the Divisional Court level.
