Devon graduated from Brandon University in 2013 with a degree in Music Performance, majoring in Classical Piano. He received his J.D. from the University of Western Ontario in 2016, and articled at a boutique full service firm in his home province of Manitoba. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in June 2017, and the Ontario bar in December 2017.
Devon’s practice focuses on tort and accident benefits cases involving motor vehicle accidents. He specializes in coverage issues, examination under oaths, and the License Appeal Tribunal process. Devon takes pride in his advocacy and communication abilities, and places a high degree of importance on client relations, as well as his ability to assist in an efficient and cost effective manner.
During his time at Western Law, Devon participated in a number of internal and external advocacy competitions. In 2015, he represented Western at the Niagara International Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C., where his team reached the finals and he and his partner were awarded Best Applicant Memorial. He and his mooting partner were also the winners of the 2015 Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada.
In his spare time, Devon enjoys running and playing music, hockey, and golf.
