Arijana graduated from the University of Toronto in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English with minors in Philosophy and Political Science. She completed her Masters in English Literary Studies in 2014 from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland before moving to Southampton, England where she obtained her LL.B in 2016. Arijana was called to the Bar in 2019.
Arijana’s main practice areas include tort, accident benefits, practice liability, and cannabis. She prides herself on her attention to detail and efficiency, resulting in exceptional results for her client.
Prior to joining ZTGH, Arijana articled and practiced at a prominent Northern Ontario Plaintiff personal injury firm where she received hands on experience in tort claims, including motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice.
Arijana has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, and Small Claims Court. She’s able to navigate these pathways with ease in order to best serve her clients.
During law school, Arijana was a founding member of the Canadian Law Society that aimed to bridge the gap of UK law students wishing to practice in Canada. She also took part in extensive mooting exercises. Keenly aware of the evolving nature within the legal field, Arijana is committed to ongoing legal education. She has given several presentations on a wide variety of topics for continuing professional development in addition to being an information session leader at Sudbury Colloquium.
Outside of the office, Arijana is a voracious reader. She enjoys visiting museums, seeing concerts, and travelling as much as she can. Although not much of a foodie, Arijana will gladly accept any and all recommendations for new restaurants to try.
