Alex graduated from the University of Toronto in 2012 with an Honours B.A. in Philosophy. He then obtained his J.D. from Western University in 2016. He summered and articled with the firm and returned as an associate following his call to the Bar in 2017.
Alex works exclusively in the areas of insurance defence and civil litigation. He has a varied practice and is an active member of the firm’s Special Investigations, Priority and Loss Transfer, Coverage, Appellate Advocacy, WSIB, and EUO groups.
Alex has assisted on a number of trials and arbitrations and regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and License Appeal Tribunal.
He also sits on the Board of Directors for HanVoice, Canada’s largest advocacy organization dedicated to issues of North Korean Human Rights and Refugees. When he is not in the office, Alex spends his summers on the diamond playing baseball – and his winters on the ice playing hockey.
